Buffy&Spike Vs TwilightAngel (My dream ending of BuffySeason 8)

I'm a big fan of Joss Whedon mainly because of Spike, who is not only his best character; he is one of the best tv characters ever. And I love his relationship with Buffy, which developed him from a villain to a champion. Spike fought for his soul and earned because his love to Buffy, to be a better man for her and the end of season 7 he sacrificed himself for her, in the name of their love. Unfortunately their love has been forgotten on season 8. Spike has been forgotten. They brought back her former lover Angel as the masked villain Twilight who is using a magic to make Buffy to believe in him and to love him again and still no clue of Spike yet. I'm not against Angel he is my second favorite character, but I've never liked his relationship with Buffy. Angel is better on his own show (I loved his relationship with Cordy)and on his comics books.
And I don't believe that Angel is Buffys "one and only love", he was only her first love. She moved on with Spike. He is her true love They are true soulmates and they belong to each other.
As my friend Moscow Watcher says, Spike&Buffy don't play by the rules and they don't believe in destiny. They don't have destiny - they have each other. That's enough to stop Twilight and save the world.
And as my friend Cil Domney says, BuffyAngel Forever/Star Crossed Lovers is culturally easy to accept, where BuffySpike and the mythic and transformative story is a lot more difficult to follow and complex - it requires mind, heart and intellectual to deal with and accept their relationship.

Did anyone else think that its weird that spike became an astronaut??? I mean, does anyone else remember the whole cavemen vs. astronauts thing? cuz i do.

@conversejunkie2222 Yep, of course I remember the cavemen Vs astronauts! :)) Actually Spike is not an astronaut. He is a captain of a steampunk. We haven't seen his ship to fly into the space. It is flying only between the dimensions. And maybe it's a time machine?! I hope we'll find out soon :)

i really think that the buffy comics sucks.... i read some series but i stopped cause the story is boring in a weird super unrealistic way...i mean com'on! Spike in a spaceship?! and that annoying angel is back again? and buffy is acting like nothing happened between her and spike before the end of hellmouth!

@McLydik Yeah, Buffy/Spike cold reunion in issue 36 wasn't very pleasant, but Buffy still has feelings for Spike - read issue 37, and that gives me some hopes. And Spike having a flying ship is a kind of cool. ;)) But you're right - Angel-Twangel is so annoying, even more than usual. I hope they will kick his ass in the end. I really can't stand him around Buffy. ;)

But I've heard the writer Willingham is leaving the Angel series and the news writers probably will fix the flaws of his poorly storyline. And these comics aren't a cannon so I don't think the Willingham's silly ideas will reflect on the main storyline...

@allonsyalonso10 Thank you! I hated the Twilight arc - that Buffy/Angel flying sex was absolutely pointless! I hope the outgoing Joss's arc - The Last Gleaming to be better. Well, Spike's back to end this twilight crap once and for all! ;))
