This film is an intricate blend of science, faith and emotion. As the journey of Ganga is unfolded, the ironic coexistence of reverence and abuse is unraveled with it-the intense respect showered on her, the callous disposal of industrial effluents and the indiscriminate dumping of domestic waste. Ganga's relationship with the people is mottled with many shades and hues. Some sprinkle a bit of love, others-a pinch of toxic waste, some defile and some do not care. The result is that, the migghty river is today, a murky labyrinth of floating carcasses, hazardous chemicals and domestic filth.
