George A. Felix is a new American citizen and new voter from Phoenix, AZ. George worries most about job security and how he is going to make ends meet after he retires. He is anxious about whether social security will be around once he retires.

"Nothing is promised and I know that I shouldn't think about retiring," says George, "especially not with talks about privatizing social security."

George is looking forward to executing his right to vote for the first time. Though he acknowledges that the presidential elections are not to be neglected, George understands that it is critical to place representation in Congress who will work for you and be your advocate in Washington. He is looking forward to keeping up to date with his community's local elections.

"While the race for President is exciting, I'm most concerned with making sure I trust my state politicians," says George. "I want to know that my representatives are doing their job and standing up for my needs."

Guillermino Torres is a new citizen who was just sworn in at a ceremony in Phoenix, Arizona. She will be casting a ballot for the first time this November. As a mother and teacher Guillermino is most concerned with the education system and America's economic stability. Guillermino would like to see more emphasis placed on education and restoring the health care system. She wishes that the candidates for president would focus more on issues that affect her during the Presidential debates, such as the candidates' health care plans. She worries about the cost of daycare.
