OMG I Knww Rite!!!
Like In America ---- Every1s Either Really Obese Or Really Skinny -_-
-
4 CUPS OF SUGAR!!! AND THEN ASK WHY USA IS THE MOST OBESE COUNTRY
-
@PrincessFlowerAngel you could use 1 cup of shortening, 1/4 teaspoon of almond extract, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla, 1/4 teaspoon of butter flavoring, 1 pound of confectioners, and most recommended 2 tablespoons of water. this is the recipe i use :) hope that helped

can I use butter for substitution to shortening ??
-
Hi how much will i need to decorate 60 cupcakes as a flower?
-
@PrincessFlowerAngel , you can add meringue powder
-
What can i use instead of shortening ?
-
I don't like boxed confectioners sugar because of the cornstarch they add to it. I make my own confectioners sugar without cornstarch. Just put regular granulated sugar in a blender, and mix till you start seeing some powder (like smoke), then it's done. Tastes a lot better than pre-made boxed confectioners sugar.
You should use as the recipe calls for; use white shortening and not the "butter" flavor. there are additional recipes on wilton's website as well.

is this a good butter cream to use on a cake before covering it with fondant?

Wait... So This is what she made the Icing with:
1/2 cup of butter
1/2 cup of shortening
vanilla extract
1 pound confectioners (bout 4 cups)
and 2 tablespoons of milk/water
so, how can i change that recipe to make stiff roses? (: THXX ♥

@PrincessFlowerAngel We're sorry! Follow the recipe you have above - that will make your stiff consistency :-)

Stiff Consistency? What do you mean? I don't have any Clear Butter Flavor! :(
Can I just use the one she's making :)

@PrincessFlowerAngel For stiff consistency, follow the recipe in the video but add 2 Tablespoons of water/milk LESS than the recipe. This will give you the proper icing for making roses. You can add whatever flavor you'd like to the icing.
