Second Chances // Chapter 6.

[Nick's P.O.V]
"I hate your ex." Miley said to me as we walked back to the bus. The whole Alora/Miley fight was stupid. Yet, Alora emphasized this whole purse thing; I didn't understand at all what it meant.
"Hmm." Was all I said. I mean, I don't hate Alora; I could never, not even the slightest.
"I don't want you talking to her." She said as she opened the door.
"Sure." I said. I then rethought what I had just agreed to, and immediately regretted it the second it popped into my head. Miley and I were the last ones on the bus, besides Big Rob. But of course, he was right behind us. We took our seats on the couch and began getting all lovey dovey. I looked over at Joe and Hayley and saw them with disappointed expressions.
"What?" I said. All they did was get up and walk to the back room. I bit my lip and then looked at Kevin and Danielle, and they too had disappointed expressions on their faces.
"WHAT?!" I shouted. They had done the same as Hayley and Joe, get up, and leave. I was aggravated by now and just wanted to scream.
"I'm going to go to bed." Miley said kissing my cheek and heading to the back. I was all alone up here, except for Big Rob. I walked up to him and just rested my head on the shoulder pad of the soft chair.
"Why is life complicated?" I asked.
"Nick. It is complicated, but only whosever life it is, makes it that way." He said all fatherly.
"Miley wants me not to talk to Alora." I said with a sigh.
"Do you still want to?" He asked as he turned the tour bus onto a highway.
"Of course. Alora and I have been through beyond life together. As best friend's and a couple." I said thinking back to when everything between us was so complex. But that was back then, and now, everything is complicated and may never be the same.
"All I can say is, one girl will always be there, another may leave whenever. But that is for you to figure out." He said focusing on the road.
"Thanks." I said walking away. I went into the kitchen and grabbed a water from the fridge when I heard running come into the living room.
"You'll never get me." Alora said with a blue lightsaber. Frankie came running out with a green lightsaber. They were fighting each other like they were in Star Wars. It was pretty funny.
"Ha! You died." Alora said doing an adorable victory dance. I watched Frankie pout and start walking away. Alora picked him up and flew him around as though he was a helicopter. A smile submerged on his face and he stuck his arms out. She set him down on the couch.
"Go get ready for bed." She said walking to the kitchen while Frankie ran off to the back.
"Excuse me." She said slipping by me and grabbing a water out of the fridge. She was wearing shorts a tank top and her frog slippers. I suddenly noticed something I was so shocked to see. The necklace I had given her around her neck. She went out to the couch and covered up in a blanket. I stayed in the kitchen to clean a few dishes and once I was done I saw Alora had fallen asleep already. I scooped her up and took her to her bed. I set her down gently, hoping not to wake anyone. Luckily I didn't. I went into my bunk and opened my curtain and looked at the night sky, soon drifting off to sleep.
