Dinner had just finished and Shane was on his way back to his cabin, happy for once in a long time. Mitchie was back and safe and No crazy fans were mobbing him. Sure he had to act depressed saying that they couldn’t find Mitchie. It was quite a believable ruse. Who knew Mitchie’s friends could act? He jumped up the steps to his cabin two and pushed open the door quietly. He peered in and Mitchie was sleeping. However she didn’t look peaceful. She was curled up and shaking, her forehead sweating. Concern washed over him. By the looks of it, it was a nightmare but he was torn between two choices. He had heard that you were supposed to let a person finish a nightmare because it could bother them if they didn’t but seeing her like this was a disturbing site. Sighing he sat on his bed. As soon as that happened Mitchie bolted upright in her bed panting her eyes wide with fear.
Shane: *walks over to her bed and sits at the foot of it* you okay?
Mitchie: *nods* yeah. It was just a bad dream.
Shane: do you want to talk about it.
Mitchie: *nods then shakes her head then nods again*
Shane: *chuckles* you just can’t make up your mind can you?
Mitchie: *sighs, brings her knees to her chest and wraps her arms around them* I relived beach jam.
Shane: *eyes widen for a second before he sits next to her and wraps one arm around her* Mitchie…
Mitchie: I know it’s in the past.
Shane: *smiles* good girl. Do you want anything?
Mitchie: *pauses then shakes her head*
Shane: you sure? Because when I was a little kid and had nightmares my mom always gave me a nice, big bowl of vanilla ice cream. Then she would drown it in chocolate syrup. Does that sound good?
Mitchie: *eyes get really wide and bright, nods excitedly*
Shane: okay. Do you want to come with?
Mitchie: *nods again* *jumps up excitedly rushing to put on her shoes*
Shane: *grabs her wrist causing her half on shoe to dangle on her foot* Slow your roll there tiger. We have to make sure nobody is around.
Mitchie: but… but… but…
Shane: I know but unless you want to be slammed emotionally and most likely physically you need to stay out of sight.
Mitchie: *sits back on the bed with a sigh*
Shane: *chuckles* Mitch, you’ll get it. Don’t worry I’ll sneak you in.
Mitchie: thank you. *Finishes putting on her shoes*
Shane: *Shane puts on his shoes and checks outside* *sees the coast is clear and turns to Mitchie* alright here is the plan. We stick close to the bushes and clear of the path. You stay on the outside so no one can see you. Got it?
Mitchie: *nods*
Shane: good. Stay close. *go outside with Mitchie in tow*
Mitchie: *sticking close to his side*
Shane: *scanning the grounds for any sign of a person, like a hawk*
Mitchie: * Following closely wanting the ice cream*
Shane: *reach the mess kitchen**gently pushes Mitchie back into the bushes* stay here until I get you and don’t make a move or a sound. *enters the kitchen* Connie?
Connie: *enters* yes Shane?
Shane: Mitchie wants ice cream. Can you please tell me where it is?
Connie: *smiles* it was very nice of you to come get it for her. I’ll get her a bowl? What kind did she want?
Shane: you can ask her if you want.
Connie: *confused* what?
Shane: she’s outside.

How will Connie act to this news? Only I know.
