yeah it has not given me a problem ..its been running with that motor for months now...works like a champ..I would not put a lower turn motor in though ..curious did you ever buy a lunch box if so what motor did you put in there

If the esc cannot handle the load it will shut down, I would say if it's still running, have fun with it!

hi i know you posted this a long time ago but you can put a a 17 turn motor in these things and the esc can handle it ...i put a trinity speed gems 17 turn in mine and its retardly fast ..in fact is so crazy its almost undrivable...and the motor is cheap too...around 25 bucks

I am about to order a lunchbox kit, what do you recommend for a motor? I see you are using the sport tuned motor, but is that what you would recommend?

Yeah its not expensive, runs on the Tamiya esc and adds quite a bit poor speed
