You have no idea how I feel after being exposed to people who don't even understand pure economics. I've gotten so fed up with this country's direction ever since we abandoned the gold standard in '71. The issue at hand is very simple; since we abandoned the gold standard we've gotten ourselves into the problem that was completely avoidable, there have been over 3000 failed paper currencies in world history that we could learn from but in the end it's a dog and pony show.
