A good way to get him eating pinkies is to rub the fish on the pinky,this way it will smell like a fish and he should eat it.Eventually you will not need to rub the pinkies with fish.Its true that a staple of these fish will cause harm to the snake..reptiles are good at hiding an illness and by the time they start to show it.....its usually too late to save them.

i'd really really switch it..... if you really don't believe me or even just don't care enough.... just go ahead and look up thaimine..... you just watch those videos of the poor snakes slow painful death..... when help came too late.... then maybe you'll change your mind and try your best to switch the life that depends on you off to the poison you're feeding it.

I tried feeding it pinkies! Refused even get near them. Snake's been eating goldfish for over a year now, seems pretty healthy 2 me! Also likes frogs every now and then.

no feeder fish!!! they will kill your snake switch it to pinky mice or fish fillet, or at the very least guppies! go to my pet forums . com you will find a large group of great people who will be happy to help you with your garter.
