I was named after this song. in 1974! My dad wanted me to have a common name because his name was at least a generation behind. (He was named for his uncle who was born 37 years earlier.

@jessamike wish there was a live version of seals & crofts singing this. my dad was also a big s&c fan way back then. he would put those huge headphones on my head and listen. remember those things? happy to see those huge things become wireless now as it was often difficult to dance around with them on.

I can't stop listening to this. Best quality I've heard. My parents actually thought I took their album....they couldn't find it. Then they did. I would never steal from them....especially the album with the song they named me after.

@jessamike...I'm happy you enjoy the music and esp this one. When I was younger, there was a Jessica in my elementary class. I had a crush on her and would play this tune all the time. When I moved out on my own, I started collecting 45rpms and this was a "must have b-side". So, I purchased a new stock copy from an online retailer. More recently, I bought an 1980s Technics turntable and have a superb stylus and cartridge to get all the perfect sound quality.

@jessamike...awesome, yes! The only other post of this tune on YT is so poor in sound quality. So, I spun on my old/mint sounding 45rpm and perfection never sounded so sweet! Thanks for checking it out. ;-)
