It's easy for politicians to cry for gun confiscation when they receive free personal police protection. Who among us could afford the same level of professional protection during an emergency?
If they were to ever come for my guns, I'll tell them I lost them all in a tragic boating accident.
Jack is a good guy, he is just wrong on most issues. He has good intentions, but as a lifetime gov't employee, he just does not understand the world most of us live in. Most liberals have good intentions, they just have a fundamental misunderstanding of the world we live in, what makes America great, and that results, not intentions, matter most.
Having had a close relative murdered, (by knife) for a $63 SSI check. I can relate to the greif, but not to the conclusion. If my aunt had a pistol then, she would have most likley lived to tell the tale. Living one block from the Lowell MA police station provided an (obviously) false sense of security.
Well, if you know Senator Jack Scott personally, how about straightening him out or asking him to leave. Personal tragic accidents and their subsequent psychological trauma do not make the basis of good public policy. Jack doesn't blame the person who shot his son, he blames the gun. If his son had been killed by a car driven by a drunk driver would he ban cars, or reinforce DUI laws and their enforcement? I know, he'd ban the car.
He's a fucking nazi. Obama should stab him to death.

Good people can just be wrong on the issues, just like bad people can be right.

If he thinks this way, he is not a "good guy" in any way, shape or form. Time to vote this old fart out.
