Enacted by Skank Arms and Bud (Garry Bradbury, Richard Bolton and Sim Steel) in 1987. Fetures piano mud wrestling, meat rotation, milking the axe and spaghetti. The man at the end is Bilbao, it is not my dad. Filmed under police supervision.

  • Hey Tom, I'm very excited to have stumbled upon this treasure trove of favourites. I love this song, and have to ask: did you use a sample from the Terry Gilliam movie "Brazil" in this track? Specifically that squeaky watery sound?

  • Correct. Made my own version, but that one was better. Probably by Rodney Glenn?

  • So where did the "Hey dog!" samples originate? Not that it matters, just curious.

  • Playschool, a children's TV show on ABC.

  • Tom,

This is one of my all-time favorite Severed Heads tracks - you were one of the first electronic artists I encountered who's music had any emotional content besides rage, alienation or disgust.

This is laconic, wistful and sardonic. Insouciant. Party music for a wake on planet X.

  • tom ellards look like crazy man in masks to do crazy dog things!

always i love his styles and electronics to make

world a place toleration to be at!

    loves the cliffords!

  • Not wanting to be a Clifford, but I really do love this song and this clip

  • severed heads sounds like sanity to me!

  • Tom this is your best videos and song ever I'll say it again 2 years later

  • Severed Heads will ALWAYS be a major influence over my own music!!!

    Love,

    Allan Zane

  • a classic (among many others)... i loved this video, i actually found it on vhs a long time ago on Overhead, it was in the bargain bin in a local HMV of all places... i used to watch that video a lot with a few select friends, then a roommate managed to "lose" it somehow... (i think he just doesn't want to give it back).

  • I remember seeing this video on Rage when I was about 12. It freaked the bejesus out of me, but it was memorable.
