Love the sound of that big V-8!

Beautiful. A time when Ford really knew what they were doing. I'd take these over a Caddy any day. Great car!

@jeffr890 Yeah, the whirring noise in first gear sounds like a 60 T-Bird I knew.

Don't you just love to drive this car? I have a '67 sedan a '68 sedan and a '66 convertible - at 5300 - 6200 lbs you just can't duplicate this ride quality.As the advertisment for the cars said it all " FOR THOSE WHO TRAVEL WELL- LINCOLN" LOVE IT! You can hit a potthole and the car just slightly shifts and you feel nothing.You can't say that about todays cars- lol!!!

I drive diesel trucks for a living, and driving one of these beautiful timeless land barges is somewhat like a diesel truck, but with couch cushion suspension! This is why the custom diesel cabs are sometimes referred to as Large Cars.
I saw a man in a 70's cadillac towing a 5th wheel horse trailer once. He said it didn't even strain at all to move it. They had it mounted right in the trunk, on the frame rails.

@jsrambler and 10 gallons! :-)

Thank you so much! I love those big old cars!

67 was the last year for this car....Ford LOST money on each one...they were more pricey than Cadillacs....except for the Cadillac Broughms, those were more costly than a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow
Which do you like better, the 67 or the 69? Do they ride any different? I need some advice. Looking to trade my Solstice GXP for a big old car like a 67 Deville Conv or a 67 Continental Conv...The Cadillacs are cheaper, but I just know nothing ride better than an old Lincoln and i'm only 23 ha I need a 100% American car. Might even go for a 77 Grand Prix...I just don't know...
