My apologies if my comment somehow offended you. I was just complementing on how the 12strikes were performed in the video. It reminded me of a WuShu form with it's long & elegant movements. The way Maestro Nene taught it to me, I was told to keep my movements short & tight to minimize giving the opponent any openings as I try to step to his side to establish control of the elbow asap. This is hard to do at a distance. Wouldn't dream of going against a gun at 20ft away, better to retreat:P

Nah, its okay. We are combining DTS to Yaw Yan to MMA... its on its experimental stage right now but is really doing great, the foot work works very well on stand up watch red romero side stepping on the punches throwed to him by a proboxer and sparring partner of manny paquiao.

No offense meant, but it looks more like a Wu Shu version of the 12 basic strikes of the Dekiti Tirsia Serradas system. The actual basic strikes in the drill are supposed to be tighter and the movements shorter since DTS is basically a close quarter or corto style of bladefighting. But great form though. Definitely good for video.

oh We have wushu students though they never said any similarities of the art, DTS is a mid and close quarter combat at least 20 feat away from disarming an uncocked gun if it is cocked and pointed there is another way... but you'll have to study DTS ;p
