I think breastfeeding is fantastic, but anything above the age of 3 is weird. Why not pump if you really want to give your child breastmilk? There's nothing wrong with that, but a 6 year old on the boob... no.

When a child is this old this is sick. The mothers need to be investigated.Why should a little boy at this age need to nurse.The mothers seem to use this as a excuse to justisfy it being wrong.What about morals and you child having mental issues.Its stuff like this that leads to other things. After the first 15 months they have gotton all the nurishment needed.

would it be wrong if my child was already potty trained but i wanted them to wear a diaper till they are 14 so i could change it because i feel it keeps us bonded?

if you want the nutrients of breast milk bottle it, and it will be more socially accepted, however, teaching your child how to eat properly from all the food groups being active, (which as i hear is more of a problem for americans) they will benefit more from it

the child is already growing up with not the right frame of mind, and if you want bond with your child, im sure in its existence its going to want to have more important and funner more accepted ways of bonding.

Every mother does what she thinks is best for her child. My son is 11 months old and I ALREADY hear "when are going to get him off your boob?" Yes, I know this is a 5-year-old, but nursing is a source of comfort, bonding, and (some) nutrition for children even after they're infants. Gracious! You all most certainly go watch movies with violence and sex, but you freak out over a bonding ritual as old as time? Children the world over nurse well into childhood. If you don't like it, don't watch!

Fast forward 10 years when this kid has a girlfriend, how happy will he be to see himself on you tube breastfeeding at the age of six? I feel this is about mum having difficulty letting go. If you are able to provide a well balanced meal for your child they no longer need to be breastfed.
