Dad vs. Linksys Tech Support

Dad is on the phone with "Pince" from Linksys tech support. Dad is trying to configure our home network so that every computer can print. "Pince" is telling Dad that there is no possible way that the network can be configured for computers to print wirelessly. Coincidentally, one laptop is printing wirelessly.

Pince's employee badge number is 53089.

Anyone who can't configure a printer for their house is a moron. And this is not a networking issue. It's a operating system issue. I'm a network engineer by trade.

take your printer disc, stick it in the computer you want to print off of and select the option "This printer will be used over a network". Also if anybody he should of called the printer manufacturer, the support tech is correct in that their product is not related to the issue. Especially being that all the computers are able to acess the network. User error...in this case ignorance is not bliss.

If one person was not able to support doesn't mean nobody in india can do it..
