Mononoke / Ayakashi ~ Shoushi no Temari Uta

This is a birthday present for my dear friend Marron (alias NathanielSama), since she brought me into this wonderful anime series. More people should know the medicine seller's scary adventures, because it is definitely one of the best animes I've ever seen. So special and different, every single episode touches you, surprises you, makes you think A LOT about it. All that with an amazing look of both old japanese artwork and the paintings of Klimt. Amazing. If you don't know it yet, watch it!
The song is from Vampire Princess Miyu OST, because I think it fits the atmosphere of the anime very well. Sad enough, the CD has a little scratch, so there's a mistake in the song. Just don't mind, it's the mononoke's bad influence...

@mamanime There are three stories. The first is a very, very sad story about a falconer who falls in love with a somewhat evil Goddess, but the other people and Gods don't accept it so easily...

The second story is about a samurai who marries a beautiful woman. After a rich man promises him a good job if he marries his daughter, he kills his own wife - but her spirit does not rest in peace.

The third storyline is with Medicine seller from Mononoke, who faces a demon cat and its tragic story...

After searching all over the place I found it under the name "Song of glass Carpet" from the "Vampire Princess Miyu Best Collection". I think the Japanese name of the song is "Shoushi no Temari Uta" which would be "Glass Hand Ball Song" or "Glass Temari Song" in english making it a tad bit difficult to find considering the name on the ost.
