My favorite clips of High Society.
This is a hilarious TV show from the mid-90s.
It only lasted one season, but it's witty writing and hilarious acting make it more than worthy of DVD release.

Synopsis:
"Dot Emerson is a divorced mother who owns a successful publishing house, for which her best friend, Ellie, writes best-selling romance novels." (IMDB)

[These clips are all most of us have left of this beloved show.
PLEASE release it on DVD so we can all BUY it for ourselves!]

  • OMG I loved this who when I was a kid, where can I buy a the DVD?

and honestly it is not ab fab, Why can't anyone ever make anything without it being compared to something else?

  • @Xalgucennia unfortunately it isn't available on DVD anywhere - which really needs to change.

  • hey, what i read was right - it IS like a rip-off of Absolutely Fabulous.

  • but it is written totally differently. it's much classier. it's got a whole different feel to it.

  • "ABSOLUTELY HIDEOUS" would be a far more appropriate title for this train wreck of a TV series!!!

  • You might be able to get the series on ioffer.com. It won't be an official release but at least you'd have the series...

  • In this clip, Mary looks a bit like the rich assistant in Will & Grace. What was her name again? Mary's voice is nicer though.

  • And lest we forget the magnificent Ms. Jayne Meadows Allen as Mary McDonnell's characters mother Alice Morgan-DuPont-Sutting-Cushing-Ferruke

  • @Xalgucennia It was meant to be like an American version of Ab Fab. Unfortunately, I didn't catch on. I loved the show.
