I grew up in Wichita and I miss Kansas thunderstorms!!! THANK YOU for posting this!!!!! Moved to Northern VA many moons ago. Here when it rains the sky just gets grey and dumps rain. Dreary! So unlike the great show nature puts on for Kansas.

You have'nt experienced thunder and lightning until you get a storm that literally makes your house shake. Even in Kansas this does'nt happen too often.
