Nick burns absolutely burns on every recording ....but yes, his artistry on 'Astrial Pirates' was nothing short of pure whup-ass.

Check Nick out on Lenny White's 'Astral Pirates' he absoluetly kicks ass on that record - killer tones, leads, rhythm, everything....

I second that (played with at carriage house, stamford, ct.); the Nodine Hill (Yonkers, NY) whiz kid is the real deal. And, he likes the Yankees; what's not to like ;-)

nick is the best gutarist i've ever played with.

Man, that Toler guy is CLUELESS about what's going on
First he plays some seriously inconsistent rhythm parts over Nicky's solo and is hardly accompanying him
Second, it is WAY obvious that it's time for a bass/drum breakdown, and Dan decides to go in for ANOTHER solo
While he is a decent soloist w/a nice melodic feel, he is not really that good at listening or accomadating other players

Wish someone would post the jam from2008 ! It was great!

Wow, is there any video of Nick with Lenny during Teh Astral Pirates tour? That was way blazin and Jamie Glaser was in the touring band on guitar as well.
At last some Nick M on video - praise the lord!!! Nick is so underrated but he deserves to be up there with the greats - just check out Lenny White's Streamline!!!
More please Rick!!!!!
