  • @meghauw Yeah there aren't really great instructions for doing henna except for online - that's partially why I made this video :) Did it turn out nice anyway?

  • lol

i think the powder's green bcuz henna's a plant right?

and the cat was funny in the beginning lol

..but your hair came out great! i'm def using your instructions! thx (=

  • yeah it's because it's a plant - I don't know why I said that in the video, it was like my first time dying and it kind of took me by surprise - maybe I expected it to be a red plant? :P

  • i always/have to use black hair dye henna and i have to leave it on AAAAAAAAAAALLLL night its so annoying is there another way?or am i just doing it completely wrong?

  • what color hair do you have? Are you letting the dye sit out mixed for at least 24 hours for the dye release?

  • hey did u add water?

  • I didn't add water but you can if you want - I just use lemon juice by itself now :)

  • Oops, just put all the henna in my hair, but didn't let it sit for more than 15 minutes. Didn't say so on the package.

Very nice cat by the way :-).

  • Hair oxidizes more when you use a liquid as acidic as lemon juice. It holds the stain better but it will darken and be a little more brown than if you used water or tea.

I've been using henna for months and I have orange/red hair.

As long as your hair is in good condition too you can stain with henna weeks after using hair color. Strand test first to make sure you like the color and only use BAQ(Body Art Quality). 100% pure BAQ henna will not make you hair fall out.

  • nice video...your hair looks great

  • @Domsworld86 best way to get black is to first dye it with the natural henna, go ginger. then dye ontop of it with indigo (same amounts). that always makes black and it will last long.

  • this is great... i've never heard of someone using Papreka...

oh and you have a great cat!

  • @Leinaah omg thanks that was helpful! =)
