Very cool. I'm getting a yellow Nissan Xterra. Going with the yellow cuz it reminds me of the Joe Adventure team support vehicle I played with as a tike.

Great follow up to the first video- actually this is the first ive seen this one. The first video is definitly the most memorable tho.

The first one was certainly unique, and a breakthrough, but the animation, and production values, on this are much better.

Great vid, thanks! I wanted to ask (since you were there) if you thought G. Wayne Miller's Toy Wars accurately depicted what was going on in the industry at the time?

There was a LOT of politics at the big H at that time. Sadly if forced some good people from the company.

Aren't 'Kimber Benton' and 'Eric Raymond' also in-jokes ? Those are the names of Jem characters, made into dolls by Hasbro in the mid-80s. "Mike Triumph" seems to be a good name for a GI Joe, I don't know if that's a Joe joke.
I enjoyed it - thanks for posting !

Yes. Since Jem was a Hasbro license, the characters are named after Jem's sister Kimber and arch rival Eric Raymond. Mike Triumph is a GIJoe character from the 1970's Adventure Team line. All part of the swipe at Mattel. Oddly enough when Toy Story came out, it was Mattel that embraced the use of Barbie and Hasbro refused the use of GIJoe. Part of the quick management turnover in the big toy companies.
