From 16mm film, Star Trek Logo with "Leonard Nimoy tonight's Star Trek will continue in a moment" all of these were cut from film during syndication in the 70's and few exsist. The dvd releases have only one from 3rd season in Cloud Miners episode with Nimoy at end of episode saying "Stay tuned for exciting scenes from our next Star Trek". CBS owns all rights to Star Trek and no claims to this clip are made. Just a part of Trek History.

  • I used to own a super 8 sound print of "Let That Be Your Last Battlefield" that had these, and one by Shatner. I sold it in the early '80s and now wish I hadn't. It also had the peacock at the beginning and NBC logo at the end.

  • This is Leonard Nimoy speaking. Tonight's Star Trek contains mature subject matter. Parental discretion is advised.

  • Good call DavidHenesy. Also the letters are blue/teal for 1968-69 season.

  • Originally, at :05, there was a brief network promo, followed by a "station break"- with station I.D. {"WNBC-TV, Channel 4, New York"}- then back to the show at :06.

  • Fact: These type of intros were on from the 1968-69 season. please correct date in title. thank you.

  • AWESOME! I remember from watching original series. thanks for posting
