Eurovision: Ani Lorak on M1 channel (02-04-08) PART 1

TRANSLATION:

TV host: our guest is ... our guest is the future contestant on Eurovision 2008 and we hope that she will be the winner ... our guest is Ani Lorak.

Ani Lorak: yes definitly, you know right now I have a lot of news because I'm currently on the European tour... promo tour as a Ukrainian partcipant on Eurovision. I've been already in Baltic countries (Philip Kirkorov invited me there as a special guest). There's incredible reaction on Shady Lady... I even do encores. I'm so glad because technically they see me for the first time. Only yesterday I came from Belgium where I gave interviews on Belgian channel, they aired my music video and we had a great chat. But besides I'm a contestant of Eurovision I also go there with my own mission. In 2004 I was a Good Will Ambassador for HIV/AIDS. They give us this title only on 1 year. But I never stopped my good intentions to help people so I think that Eurovision is a good platform for uniting Europe on order to fight this problem. I think the most important thing is to change attitude, make it more tolerant for people who have HIV. I want to remind our youngsters, all people who just start discovering relationships that you should use condoms. If you love and care about your partner. Because the biggest risk is caused by ignorance ... people don't know ... they think this disease won't touch them "no, this won't happen to me" but in the real life everything starts from such little things so ... me & Belgian organization Designers Against AIDS (DAA) we want to create collection of cool t-shirts together and maybe I'll record a song for them... well, I'll think about it... what interesting things I can make for them. So I'll be on Serbian stage as a singer but on press conferences and other events I want to concentrate on this problem and ... so we could unite somehow because half a million people in Ukraine have HIV and this is really awful because we have the biggest level...

TV host: uh, you are really great because you do such amazing things at the same time and prepare for Eurovision and agitate everybody against AIDS it's ...
