Drive only received one Oscar nomination and it was for best sound editing, isn't that some bull shit?

Really?! That IS bullshit! This movie has phenomenal acting, cinematography, and many other elements. What a shame that such artistry is lost on the masses.

Or he has been to see many films in his life, and enjoyed this one particularly, just because you aren't a fan, doesn't make it a bad film. It also seems to me that you are one of the few people I know, and indeed one of the few people on this video, that dislikes this film. Speaks volumes.

It's interesting how you proclaim to hold some sort of truth about how horrible this film is when it seems like you are the only one holding that opinion. It is more likely that you aren't receptive to the qualities of the film. I don't mean this as an insult, but I find your comments rather arrogant.

Easily should have been an Oscar winner in several categories. The Academy is filled with dunces.

Completley agree! Loved the film, I love how the violence/Gosling's aggression comes out of the blue to really shock/suprise the audience. I think as men we can all relate to doing a few crazy things to impress the ladies haha!

You obviously haven't been to see many films in your life. I was prepared to love this and came away numb.

That's because it's not that good a film. Ryan Gosling acts like a piece of wood. The plot has little meat on it. If it weren't for the utterly gorgeous Carey Mulligan, it has nothing to hold the attention. Some of the soundtrack is good, but even for that there are better versions. It was lucky to get an Oscar.
