ENE 502: History & Philosophy of Engineering Education, Fall 2011
As we consider the philosophical question, "what is engineering education?", we have selected to highlight that boundary work in engineering education is guided by the complexity of the following questions: What is engineering? Who gets to be an engineer? Who decides who gets to be an engineer?, What shapes these decisions? What is the purpose of engineering education?
This video investigates these questions by exploring, via images and video, our own views on engineering and engineering education as well as current perspectives in society, industry, academia, and even pop-culture.
