ThyssenKrupp bought out Dover they are the same company. Schindler bought Haughton which used to be Westinghouse. Kone bought Montgomery. Otis has always been Otis. These are the four largest elev companies in the world. They are all union companies in the US. I guess I should know over the years I have worked for them all except Schindler but have a lot of friends that work there.

I agree that Otis and ThyssenKrupp are good elevator companies, along with Kone and Schindler.
