Pilot's view of CYPRUS onboard an Aviomania G1Sa Gyrocopter. Check out the view, the stick shake and some ultra low level flying, following dirt roads.

  • Gyroplanes do not stall, can land with 0 ground run and are always in auto rotation. so if your engine stops you do not need to do anything. just find a place to put the gyroplane down, which can be just a bit bigger than the rotors. wind and turbulence do not effect its flying as much as airplanes. If need bee you can just descent vertical to the ground.

all these been said.. there are some dangerous gyros out there, so choosing a safe model is important. visit pra dot org

  • @cyflyer Also see our video "Aviomania dead stick landing" and the end of "Aviomania at Thiva April 2011" to see the very low speed that you can land in case of engine failure

  • Thanks. The area there is next to my hangar... so i know that area very well. for example.. at 5:28 i pull up and then come down at 5:48... around the cables.

  • @cyflyer

    Search for "Aviomania Agrinio"

and watch that video..... it was filmed in a show i did in Greece with one of my customers gyro.

  • Purely awsome!! How can I arrange to come and have a flight with you in a gyro - am living near Limassol and am a frustrated 3 axis microlight pilot who misses flying!!

  • @cymicrolight Visit my webpage ( the address is in the video) to get my phone no.

give me a call and we can arange something..........
