Crate GX130c Ampeg V412 half stack

Crate GX130C head, and an Ampeg V412 cabinet.

The amp has pretty good sounding distortion (this model was even used by cannibal corpse).

The camera mic isn't very good, and i'm using a cheap hondo strat copy, so you're not hearing the amps real potential, but you get the idea :)

Originally I uploaded this video with the intention to sell this amp locally. But I downgraded my second amp to a much smaller amp, so i decided to keep this half stack now as its the only amp I have thats loud enough to use over a drummer.

ToM's tone is a VS8100 with a distortion pedal used as a slight boost with just a hint of gain. Pretty sure of that, as I can get the (almost) exact same tone from mine using that set-up.

for the $100 bucks that you can pick these up for", their not a bad amp.most people make the mistake of haveing the gain and treble up too much.thats where the harshness comes from in these amps.put a good delay(Flashback?)in the effects loop and yer hav"n some fun!
