Inspired by GTA 3's Talk Radio advert for Liberty City Survivor. You know the one: "We take 20 recently paroled criminals, give them rocket launchers and flamethrowers and let them hunt each other down!"
Started as a small project to just make an online chat system with a mini game attached and this is the result.
Includes multiple weapons, online play, a chat system, and a few more I haven't added yet. I'm still working on some changes to it.
It's being made using Multimedia Fusion 2 (by ClickTeam - www.clickteam.com).
It's not going to look fancy because I can't do graphics. I'm really just using the project to get some experience in making online games.
Anyway, let me know your thoughts. Sorry about the poor video quality.

  • how is the song called? from which artist?

  • Hi, the song is called "You Can't Hide, You Can't Run" , the artist is "Dilated Peoples". It's from their album called "20-20"

  • What is the tutorial called?

  • The clickteam one about making a chat program? It's called MooClick Video Tutorial Series. Go on their tutorial page and there's a link at the top of the page that will take you to it.

  • @aaaanonymoussss What can Flash do that MMF can't?

  • o ya i liced to this in gta 3

  • cool, thx

  • You can get paid for your mmf2 products anyway, so i dont see whats so bad about it ;D

  • I agree with InsaneTunes. MMF2 is a very good system which is very powerful. Anybody who calls it a 'crappy make-a-game system' hasn't actually had a good look at it and seen what it can do. Yes you can make very simple games but you can also make very impressive, complicated games like 'noitu love' or 'The Spirit Engine'.

As for learning something else, I already programme in C# but still like to use MMF2 as well

  • u don't what ure saying, mate, multimedia fusion is one of the best things ever! its official and costs £200 but ppl like u prefer flash, which to me is the same as multimedia fusion 2!

  • Dude, don't use crappy make-a-game systems. Learn ActionScript and make Flash games - and if you will master it you even get paid by flashsite for original content. If you want to create something really serious learn c++ or Delphi.

When i was young i made such games in DOS Quick Basic. That was not easy but very funny.
