Thanks for taking time to share your input on this locomotive. I'm just starting out in this hobby and appreciate all the hints and tips you guys give.

I have some BLI engines and an MTH F3 that start at 1MPH. I still prefer my MTH engines though. Good video!
-
Nice! Iam ordering mine just as soon as my new credit card comes.
-
love mth chatter makes it super realistic feature.
-
Isn't that a feature/switch they would turn on when they approach a level crossing? I have no idea but would assume that they can turn that function on and off.
-
Not all of them. The UP nor the BNSF have flashing ditch lights.

That Is one cool locomotive! I just ordered mine yesterday! Along with my MTH sd70M-2 NS. I was wondering if you could control the radio chatter with the progity express DCC system/ or with yours

@madbeastification Well, I can controller the chatter to a point. By hitting F4 on my Prodigy Advance I can go through a series of radio chatter sequences. Otherwise when it sits idling it will play some chatter. Thanks for the comment! Hope you enjoy your new units!

I bought me a pair of BNSF SD70ACe's.
The only thing I don't like is that the horn is not loud enough on neither one of them. It's easy to turn the volume for all sounds in general together. But, to turn the volume up on the horn, you really have to have the DCS system?

@mcglock17 Yeah I noticed that too, although it sounds pretty good, in reality the horn is WAAAY loader than any other sound you'd hear on the loco. I think you are right about the DCS being able to control the level of sound on the horn. I've got 2 BNSF units, UP 8321, Rio Grande, Katy, Chicago, and the MP units. Love them all! Some of the Heritage units have some different sound effects on them. Glad MTH mixed it up a bit.
