@tvhowling I think it's "Tu t'appelle quoi?" If you are asking "what's your name." "S'appeller" is a reflexive verb and the conjugation for tu is "te." I think! Hope this helps.

@lsfrench Oh ok thanks! I was crap at French in school in England, but I'm trying to learn some again. Although I know the only proper way to learn all the slang and phrases is to be around French speaking people.

@lsfrench Isn't the use of "Tu" only for people you know well? Don't you use "Vous" for people you don't know well?

@ojideagu well, tu is for people you know but also for colleagues or people same ages of you even if you don't know them, vous is for people you don't know and to show respect, with your boss, an older man etc...
