@QWERTY1233211 They have taught us in school that we are a republic, but the more you look into it, we are a democracy. So if you want to look at it technically, I am kind of right. And now that im in the Navy, the creed and my enlistment says that I am to support and defend democracy, not republic.

@TheSerenityhuck Mostly based on definition, In a democracy the people vote for themselves. In a republic the people elect representatives to vote for them. So technically you are kind of wrong.

I truely admire this guy. I understand that i am still young, and I have much to learn, but in a way I see myself when I look and listen to John. The truth he speaks is powerful.

@jamsmommy Last time I checked, we are a democracy. The U.S. was built off of democracy.

Thanks for noticing that. Don't know how the file got corrupted but on the original he says "That's what the Roman's were all about.." at that point.
