This is part 1 of a "gum wrapper" bag tutorial using potato chip bags. Clean and cut the bags 4.5" x 2". Then fold in half, and fold ends to the center - long thin strip. Then fold in half the other direction, and fold ends to the center. To connect them, take each end of the folded part and put them through the center of another piece. The width of your bag is half the size of your chain. The hight of your bag = how many chains that you have. I am making a change purse, so I am joining 36 pieces together for each chain. I hope that people are able to understand this tutorial. Part two will come out after I finish my bag.

  • @PTuinman So true. ;)

  • @Textiles4you It's just how you prefere to do it :P. I look out for part 2 ^^

  • @joshmofour You're sweet :)

  • @PTuinman Thanks for sharing that info. I tried it, but I find the other way easier (the way in my video). I guess because I've been doing the same way for 2 decades, lol. However others might like that other way better.

  • you are my hero!!!! <3

  • Also it can be more easier, just keep it folded and stick the two little legs in. If you search ''how to make candy wrapper bracelet'' on youtube if you don't get what I mean, you''ll understand :P

  • You can also put clear sticky tape on it to make it more sturdy. I wanted to make these for a while and found good instructions and tutorials, but never got around to it. It's very difficult to explain, but if people lookup some other tutorials they will get it :P
