Gradius II (PCE) - Custom Soundtrack

Always wanted to change the audio to several CD games, the first being Dracula X and the second Gradius II (PCE). I've since did both and had a lot of fun with it. YouTube user, Annoyboy, uploaded a similar idea which inspired me to upload this.

The video does not represent the exact quality of my custom soundtrack. I made a video before this one but didn't like the results because either boring gameplay would be accompanied by the best parts of the songs or the best gameplay segments would have unrecognizable parts of the music in the background. So I recorded the video with no music at all and added the soundtrack afterwards (same technique as my Monster Hunter vids). I wanted the video segements to be enjoyable to watch and the music instantly recognizable to the Gradius fan.

The music is from the various Konami music CDs available in Japan. I was mostly shooting for arranged tracks, but there are one or two instances of music from other official Gradius game soundtracks (Gradius V, Graidus Gaiden).

@palmalove61 It's from a CD called "Konami GM Hits II". The track is called "Crossfire". It's a medley with both songs and more.

@palmalove61 Yes, it is indeed from Gradius Tribute. Track 7, about 3min 30sec in. Sorry about the wild goose chase by thinking it was Space Odyssey.

Sorry for making you wait so long. There's a CD called Gradius II Space Odyssey (or Space Odyssey Gradius II if you prefer) with a few arranged tracks at the opening of the disk. The Shoot and Shoot is part of a medley. I can't find my copy to be 100% positive, (argh, so annoyed) but I'm 99% sure it's from that CD.
