  • Hey, thanks a lot Professor!

But we take in class things like:

    |X| = X where X is greater than or equal Zero,

or = -X where X is smaller than Zero.

    And I don't get it =|

Can you help me out professor?!

  • @SueHesham i have stuff dealing with absolute value inequalities somewhere!

  • @patrickJMT Ahhhh okay, I will search for them =)

Thanks a lot Professor and sorry for disturbance =) =)

  • @SueHesham no disturbance :)

  • @TripleHfan54 how can the absolute value of a number equal negative 10?

  • @patrickJMT Why though?

  • @TripleHfan54 well, an equation like: | x + 4 | = -10 would have no solution

  • When could it be no solution?

  • Out of curiosity, why do we use this? What would absolute value apply to?

  • thank you!
