the reason why its called hell ville is b/c thats the name of town that english setlers and pirates back in the 17th century who visited named it

This city is really called Hell-Ville.
It is named after Admiral Chretien de Hell, who was Governor of Bourbon Island in the Indian Ocean (now known as Reunion Island). The Isle of Nosy Be became a French Protectorate in 1841, and the capital city was then renamed Hell-Ville to honor Admiral de Hell.
