(Fake) The Thing remake movie trailer

A request by several. Based on the upcoming remake of the classic John Carpenter film, itself based on a classic science fiction film called The Thing from Another World; both based on a short story called Who Goes There?
I don't know how great of an idea it is to remake a remake which was already great to begin with, but given all our special effects wizardry it will certainly be a pretty movie. However to stay scary, to stay innovative, I'd want to new movie to adhere to 'less is more'. Notice I didn't show The Thing really throughout this trailer. That's how it should be! The Thing should be an unknown evil, a terrifying malignant presence for the film to stay suspenseful and scary. I hope I managed to get that across. Its not only The Thing that is scary about this story, its the isolation, the mistrust, the bleak white expanse of the arctic.
A lot of this trailer is taken from an upcoming movie called Whiteout, which seems to be very close in feel and plot to The Thing.

Well its supposed to be for the trailer, but actually that scene is from the recent movie Whiteout. It looked so good it inspired me to make this trailer in the first place :D

You know, it's funny. Almost three years ago you create a trailer that's almost perfect. It hits almost all the right notes, you don't show the creature and you build up a epic sense of terror and dread.

The trailer for the actual new Thing movie is released?
