Zip55 Slope Soaring

Second flight with my new Zip55, this time in Albany Western Australia. This is an all balsa and ply wingeron model. The design and construction is very clever, well worth a look at www.zaerotech.com to find out more.

My first time flying this site too. The lift was awesome and the scenery even better - but top landing is not an option. I can hand catch a model, but not while standing on those steps! I landed my Wowings Duck in the bushes after the 'sniffer flight' before launching the Zip and retrieving that drew blood! That's why I opted for the bottom landing :)
