This is one of the great original rock ballads of all time. I sang this on the boardwalk

I Listen to that song years ago and it reminded of Ren'e when he sang with DC Sholars still working on that song in du wop while married to Robert Garlic Jr, Sister Gloria, who was in the the singing group also love that song it bring back the days when music was music and good memories.>>Billy Ray

@takeanotefromme / I grew up in that era, and was right there when R&R started. I was also heavy into R&B, which was not played on the white stations but was where this music called Doo Wop came from. I also knew a group in high school who became famous (Skyliners). Of course we all sang, you didnt need an orchestra to make great harmony. Everybody was into customizing cars; the movie Rebel Without a Cause was a major earthmoving event for our generation. Many fond memories of those days!
