maybe this one didn't deserve 1st , but i was glad they won because they've been denied 1st at least 3 times from 1987-2003. '92,'97, and '01 for sure.

what's wrong with you people?!?!? this a city tradition over 100 years old. I've gone every year since I was born. Good stuff, incredible work, wonderful choreography, and the arrangements are to die for!!!! do you think this is easy?? these guys plan and rehearse for a year for this one performance. Don't come to Philadelphia on New Year's Day. You won't be welcome.

This was a fantastic theme! I saw this down on Oregon Avenue when they were warming up. The band is tight as hell. This was the first of five straight. And now they are going for an unheard of six in a row. Can it be done? We will find out January 1, good luck.
