I've been taking you all on some pretty amazing adventures. Twisty mist covered jungle roads, waterfalls, beaches. Most of these things are only about an hour away from my house. In this video I wanted to show you the city I live in David, Panama. It's great to have so many different cool areas nearby to explore, but it's also nice to live in a somewhat large city with all the amenities that brings.

David isn't a super nice city, but it isn't a slum either. I enjoy living here... most of the time.

  • Man, it's like riding through and obstacle course over there in your city! "pio-pio" is how Japanese say "cheep cheep" lol.

  • @808yewtube Yeah traffic is rough here, but it's nice to be able to fight through it on the moto rather than be stuck in a car.

  • Cool city. What is the currency of Panama? Can't imagine waiting for an hour to use an ATM. Do you have difficulty getting things there?

  • @dahveed284 Panama uses the U.S. dollar.

Ordering things online I have to pay 70-100% import taxes plus shipping to get them into the country. Depends on what mood the import officer is in.

  • Are there any more grigos there? I live in the D.C. area and the equity has fallen again.

I am enjoing your infomation videos.

  • @KeithCindyPanama I see gringos around David fairly often. Some live here, others are passing through, some are shopping from Boquete. Boquete is "Gringolandia" a lot of grinos move there to retire.

  • Hey gringo Halfthrottle. My wife & i will be in the Don Bosco aria in September mabe we will pass each other on Via Espania.

  • @halfthrottle I know the scene well, did you miss my quote? ;) The father keeps going on about the bride having huge ... tracks of land.

That's one of my all time favourite movies.

I never made it to David, spent most of my time in Panama city and Colon, both quite scary at times ... Sailed the canal, beautiful!

  • @KeithCindyPanama Ahh I see, so you already know the ins and outs. Sorry I can't recommend a realtor for you.
