@Gnothean So by your logic, if man devoutly believed that the reason for all death was due to God's anger then skepticism wouldn't have led man to look further into the cause of disease and subsequent cures for many of them through thorough research and 100% verifiable conclusions.

Belief is not fact, it may be true in some cases but we don't truly know if that case is truth unless we are skeptical to the claims and can verify them through our skepticism.

@lvinvestor2006 Yep, Aliens probably took a ride across the galaxy that took many ligt-years (if we accept that you can't reach faster speed than light - but lets say they could) and they crash in damn united states. They could've avoided small meteoroids (at speed of light breaking into such object could be more devastating than small nuke). And so on, and so on. Also another question: why? why? why? Why for billion years of earths existence did they crash now and in the USA? unlikely bullshit
