Fuck that. I'll take the banjo too, and not call it country.

Banjo country? Hahaha it originated in Africa, played by Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, Buckethead and countless other non-country bands and artists. An instrument is not a genre, they way that instrument is played determines what genre it could sound like. I could make an Ibanez 7 string sound country if really wanted to.

I think you may have taken that comment a little too literally. I think it's pretty easy to tell that I wasn't being serious.

Brent Hinds of Mastodon also plays it - particularly in the intro to "Divinations." His finger-and-pick style was directly inspired from his banjo-playing.
Banjo is a phenomenal instrument that I wish more musicians in different genres would use.

Really? Sapping junk? You just called Johnny Cash (and Patsy Cline, and Jennings, and Bob Dylan, and others awesome artists) of "sapping junk"? I admit I don't know exactly what means this expression, but I guess you are really and horribly, wrong.
