Pokemon Crystal Gameplay 1: In the Beginning

The first out of many videos in this Pokemon Crystal walkthrough/gameplay series. As I go through, I will narrate what I feel, and facts about the game, such as pokemon that appear in certain areas, good movesets, good pokemon team ideas, ect. Even though I use a emulator to capture the video in here, I have this game and several others that I may make walkthroughs for later. I will hopefully be uploading each part every Monday and Thursday.

In the Beginning... there was a boring speech made by Professor Elm. I go through that, set the times and go on my way. I decided to choose the water pokemon, Totodile simply because it is my favorite of the three. Cyndaquil's evolved form is better, as it can learn thunderpunch which knocks out its main weakness, water types and is also good against flyers. Chikorita...I just don't think that it is that good and I don't recemend it. Your choice. Anyways, I name my Totodile "Tito", train it to level 8 and explore route 29 and Cherrygrove city, explaining the basics of the game.

Personally I find the older Pokemon games (up to Pearl/Sapphire) the best Pokemon games. The newer ones are great, but they don't give me the joy of the earlier games. :(

if u had the original cheats from crystal, and had max stats and flame thrower, body slam, crunch, and double kick infinite pp and hp, pokemon from crystal, this team; HITMONLEE, SCIZOR, MEWTWO, KABUTOPS, MAROWAK, NOCTOWL. You would pwn the entire game in 1 single day.
