The Outlaws are a southern rock band formed in Tampa, Florida in 1972. Up until recently, Hughie Thomasson played in Lynyrd Skynyrd. Since he left Skynyrd, there have been rumors of an Outlaws reunion, based mainly on comments by Thomasson. The reunion is not a rumor anymore: The band is touring and they plan to release their new studio album called "Full Circle" in 2006.

wheat12341...the time is now man....this is the greatest band of all time and it is a travesty the laws are not in the rock and roll hall... I may drive my wife crazy, but I play ONLY outlaws in my automobile ....got every byte of music (including Henry Paul Band..I consider them Outlaws music...) ever written (someone send me a link to Freddie Salem's band PLEASE...) by them, I THINK!... 10 live concerts, every one of them indelibly etched in my conscience...

I saw this band four times in different forms. The best was 1976 but Hughie was always an Outlaw even when he was playing for Skynrd. I always thought that this song was underrated and that the Outlaws belong in th Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

I remember spending a couple of days teaching one of my best friends to dance to this song for her wedding. Ahhh memories.
