Wow, this song blew me away, it's definetly my favorite song. The main reason is that the story becomes extremely interesting if this is officialy part of the series. Because in the song, Wily's saying to Megaman that he won't let him go and fight the robot masters, and yet he (obviously) fights them in Megaman. Why? The possibilities are endless; Dr. Wily could have completely taken over and made a germany from WWII because of the attack from Protoman, for one idea (and the one I go by)con.

Let me correct you a bit, first off, the speaker here is Dr. Light, speaking to his "son" Rockman/Megaman. He sees himself as the father of death, and as he saids pretty clearly, he doesn't want another son to die, and tires to prevent his youngest son from pursuing revenge for the death of Protoman.

It's actually part of the story that Light never wanted Megaman to end up fighting. At least that's made explicit in Megaman X, and I think some of the additional materials surrounding the original games say that is the case there too.
