Nessie a fuguée de son domicile laissant sa mère dans un désarroi totale et Edward très inquièt car c'est la 1ere fois qui sont sans leur fille.

Edward grâce à ses capacités peut expliquer à sa femme, ce qui c'est réelement passer entre Nessie, Jacob et Nahuel. Bella se doute que leur seul moyen que sa fille lui revienne, c'est de retrouver Jacob pour qu'il lui ramène.

Nessie ne se doute pas du mal qu'elle a fait et va vite se rendre compte que le monde n'est pas à l'image de sa famille.
