@guitarstrike If I remember correctly, what my violin teacher told me was that he was probably doing three mini-strokes down on one note and then a single stroke up on the next note.

I'm not a violinist and I'm also very interested in the bow stroke XD I wonder if he sort of vibrates it up and down while playing the melody or he taps his left hand fingers and strokes the bow normally?

I don't know, I don't really like it on violin. It's a great performance, but this is a guitar piece. ._.
