How long was that show on tv, i didn't move to Lafayette until 1969 and i know i watched the show for a couple of years after that

before sesame street, this was all we had as kids. I recall the ancient cartoons he used to play. They were sometimes politically incorrect. (the black and white cartoons, with natives with the bones in their hair, etc.)

I remember they used to play another song when Polycarp would come on in the morning. It wasn't sung just instrumental. Brings back good memories when I was a kid growing up in Lake Charles.
